Your first week with dassi

The goal isn’t “AI everywhere.” The goal is to remove the repeatable browser overhead that steals your day.

Day 1: Pick one high-frequency workflow

  • Choose one app you touch daily (email, CRM, docs, dashboards).
  • Ask dassi to do the safe part first (summarize, draft, label, preview).

Day 2–3: Make it repeatable

  • Save a prompt template (format, tone, what to include/exclude).
  • Define guardrails: “never send/submit without confirmation.”

Day 4–5: Connect tabs (without integrations)

  • Read context in one tab and write results into another tab (CRM, Docs, Sheets).

Prompt recipes for this role

  • “Define the key terms in this paper in context, inline.” (use case: Academic Paper With Inline Jargon Definitions)
  • “Build a glossary of the top 15 terms used here.” (use case: Academic Paper With Inline Jargon Definitions)
  • “Fact-check the numeric claims in this article and add sources.” (use case: News Article With Inline Fact-Check Annotations)
  • “Flag any misleading comparisons or missing baselines.” (use case: News Article With Inline Fact-Check Annotations)
  • “Generate 12 flashcards from this article and quiz me.” (use case: Any Article Becomes Flashcards)
  • “Focus flashcards on definitions + key claims.” (use case: Any Article Becomes Flashcards)
  • “Summarize this video into sections with timestamps.” (use case: YouTube Video Page With Structured Notes)
  • “Create bullet notes and include key quotes.” (use case: YouTube Video Page With Structured Notes)
  • “Add filters for Vendor and Amount, then show totals by month.” (use case: Any HTML Table Becomes an Interactive Dashboard)
  • “Highlight rows over $10k and chart spend by department.” (use case: Any HTML Table Becomes an Interactive Dashboard)

Safety checklist

  • For actions (send, submit, delete), require explicit confirmation.
  • Prefer structured outputs: checklists, tables, and short briefs you can reuse.
