Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Omnify Labs ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use dassi (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

2. Browser Data and Local Storage

dassi stores your configured API keys and local conversation history in your browser. It uses your existing website sessions to perform tasks. We do not collect your complete browsing history as a separate activity feed.

Instructions, selected attachments, and website content needed for a task may be sent to the AI provider you configure.
Task results may contain information from the websites you ask dassi to use.
Optional remote access sends task instructions and results through dassi's servers, as described below.

3. Data We May Collect

We process information needed to provide and improve the Service:

Basic usage analytics (feature usage, error reports)
Account information if you create an account (email, subscription status)
Payment information processed by our payment provider (Stripe)
For remote browser access: task instructions, task state and results, and identifiers connecting a task to your account, browser, and authorized AI app

Account and remote-task records are associated with your account; they are not anonymous.

4. How Your Data Flows

When you use dassi:

With your own provider key, model requests go from your browser to your configured provider endpoint.
With dassi-managed credits, model requests pass through dassi's relay to reach the provider and meter usage.
Your configured API keys are stored locally in your browser.
All AI interactions are governed by your chosen provider's privacy policy

Optional remote browser access

When you enable remote browser access and authorize an AI app, that app can submit instructions to dassi's servers. Your enabled desktop browser retrieves and executes the task using its configured model. The result returns through dassi's servers to the authorized AI app. Relevant website content may be included in model requests and task results.

Remote MCP task instructions and results are retained on dassi's servers without automatic expiry. Disabling access requests cancellation of active tasks but does not delete earlier task records. Records are removed when their associated account, browser registration, or server-side MCP conversation or client registration is deleted. Contact privacy@omnifylabs.com to request deletion; deleting local browser history or disconnecting an AI app alone does not delete server records.

5. Third-Party Services

dassi integrates with third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

AI Providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others
AI apps you authorize to use remote browser access
Payment Processing: Stripe
Analytics: Google Analytics (on this website)
Advertising measurement: Reddit Ads and Meta (on this website and for conversion reporting). Email addresses are hashed before any conversion is reported; your prompts and browsing content are never shared with ad platforms.

6. Data Security

Remote browser access requires account authorization and explicit browser opt-in. The MCP gateway checks the requesting account and OAuth client before admitting tasks or returning results. You can disable remote access in the extension. API keys and local history use browser extension storage; access also depends on the security of your device and browser profile.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access any personal data we hold about you
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Opt out of analytics collection
Export your data

8. Children's Privacy

dassi is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the Service or by email.
