Your first week with dassi
The goal isn’t “AI everywhere.” The goal is to remove the repeatable browser overhead that steals your day.
Day 1: Pick one high-frequency workflow
- Choose one app you touch daily (email, CRM, docs, dashboards).
- Ask dassi to do the safe part first (summarize, draft, label, preview).
Day 2–3: Make it repeatable
- Save a prompt template (format, tone, what to include/exclude).
- Define guardrails: “never send/submit without confirmation.”
Day 4–5: Connect tabs (without integrations)
- Read context in one tab and write results into another tab (CRM, Docs, Sheets).
Prompt recipes for this role
- “Categorize these transactions and show a pie chart.” (use case: Bank Statement That Categorizes Its Own Expenses)
- “Flag subscriptions and list them with monthly cost.” (use case: Bank Statement That Categorizes Its Own Expenses)
- “Find the best current price for this exact model across major retailers.” (use case: Live Competitor Prices Injected Into Product Pages)
- “Show price + shipping + return policy for the top 3 options.” (use case: Live Competitor Prices Injected Into Product Pages)
- “Show price history for this product and label if it’s above average.” (use case: Price History Injected Below the Price Tag)
- “Tell me the best time to buy based on past discounts.” (use case: Price History Injected Below the Price Tag)
- “Write a weekly summary of this dashboard for Slack.” (use case: Analytics Dashboard That Writes Its Own Weekly Update)
- “Call out the top 3 drivers for traffic change.” (use case: Analytics Dashboard That Writes Its Own Weekly Update)
- “Pin this product. Build a comparison table for the pinned items.” (use case: Side-by-Side Product Comparison, Built on the Fly)
- “Highlight which one is best for gaming vs. office work.” (use case: Side-by-Side Product Comparison, Built on the Fly)
Safety checklist
- For actions (send, submit, delete), require explicit confirmation.
- Prefer structured outputs: checklists, tables, and short briefs you can reuse.
