What you get

  • Copy message content + context into CRM activity notes
  • Match the right contact record from LinkedIn identity
  • Add timestamps and conversation summaries
  • Keep your workflow in-browser across tabs

How it works

The workflow, in plain English

Before: Prospect messages you on LinkedIn. You copy their name, switch to Salesforce, search the contact, create an activity note, paste the message, switch back. Per message: 2 minutes.

After: You read the LinkedIn message. Say “log this.” Dassi switches to your CRM tab, finds the contact, creates the note with the message text and timestamp, switches back. 3 seconds. No API keys. No OAuth. No Zapier subscription.

Why traditional tools can’t: LinkedIn’s Zapier integration doesn’t capture message content. CRM integrations require API setup per tool. Dassi just reads both pages through the DOM.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the LinkedIn message thread.
  2. Ask dassi to log it to your CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot) tab.
  3. Confirm the matched contact/company.
  4. Let dassi create the note + any follow-up tasks.

Example prompts to try

  • “Log this message thread to Salesforce under this contact.”
  • “Summarize the last 5 messages and add as a note in HubSpot.”
  • “Create a follow-up task for next Tuesday.”

Tips for better results

  • Be specific about what you want injected into the page (buttons, filters, a panel, a summary, etc.).
  • If the page has multiple sections, tell dassi exactly what to focus on (e.g., “the transactions table” or “the diff for file X”).
  • Prefer safe workflows first: draft, summarize, label, and prepare — then take actions (submit, purchase) only after review.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to connect LinkedIn and the CRM?

No. This is tab-to-tab automation: dassi reads one page and acts in another.

Will it find the right contact record?

It’s best when your CRM has consistent naming. You can also provide a direct CRM link to the record to avoid ambiguity.

Can it log attachments?

Text is easiest. For attachments, it can note that an attachment was sent/received, but actual upload depends on CRM UI.
