Seventy colors of one water bottle

The instruction was short. Check the 24 oz Owala FreeSip on four sites, change nothing, and come back with a table, anything inconsistent, and the steps taken. dassi started on owalalife.com, opened the FreeSip, picked the 24 oz size and went through the colors for price and stock, then did the same on Amazon, Target and Walmart, where it had to click through each color swatch to see the range. It finished in just under five minutes.

Most of the answer was dull, which is what you want from a price check, with $29.99 at Owala and Target and $29.97 for Walmart’s core colors (its other colors matched Owala). Amazon was the odd one. It listed more than seventy colorways, and the retired colors were being sold by third parties at $39.99, $49.67 and $61.99. The product title was different on all four sites.

All of that happened in an ordinary Chrome tab. Your own jobs run the same way, in the browser you already use, where you’re already logged in to Shopify or Seller Central, once you’ve shown dassi the job or written the steps down in plain English. It keeps those steps as a workflow and runs them when you ask or on a schedule. Anything you flag, like a listing going live or a refund, waits for your yes.

Why the job stops at the sheet

I’m wary of letting any tool reprice off a scan like that. A third-party seller’s $61.99 is mostly noise, and a bot that chases it is how you end up racing somebody else’s bot. So our price check job ends at the sheet, their prices next to yours with a note on whatever looked odd, and the pricing decision stays with you, the person who knows the margins. On a Monday 7am schedule it makes a good second job.

The rest of a seller’s week

The first job to hand over is probably listings, since the spreadsheet already exists and it’s usually more accurate than whatever is live on your Etsy or Ozon storefront. dassi creates or updates the listing on each store a product belongs on and writes the live URL back next to the row, and if Amazon rejects one for a missing bullet point, Amazon’s own error goes in the sheet. Teach it by walking one SKU into Shopify while dassi watches and narrating the price floor. Give it five the next day, check each, and save the workflow once you’ve stopped correcting it.

Reconciliation I’d hand over last. A deposit that lands $14 short means somebody has to find the order that ate the difference, usually on the last day of the month. dassi can match payouts against orders and the bank as part of your weekly admin, and it can pull bank transactions into Sheets when your bank won’t export them, which covers the pure-copying part of reconciliation. It will also draft a reply to each new review for you to post, and when you’re sourcing it can line up supplier quotes in one sheet.

Before you schedule anything

I don’t know your marketplace’s current rules on automation and buyer contact, so read them first. dassi works at a person’s pace in the screens you already use; with thousands of SKUs, have it drive the platform’s bulk upload instead. It won’t offer a buyer anything for a review. Scheduled runs happen in your own browser. It needs to be open when one is due, and two-factor codes still come to your phone. The listing and order data a job reads goes to the AI provider you picked, through dassi’s relay on a plan with credits, since the model can’t reason about an order it hasn’t seen.

Paying for it

Free credits to try dassi, good for 7 days. No card required. If you already have an API key, the Developer plan is $10 a month and you pay the provider for what you use; plans with monthly credits run $25 to $300 a month. A 40-SKU batch eats more than one price check does. Past that, your own mix of jobs will tell you more than I can.
